I love this frame, it really keeps your Monk's cloth taught and your stitches very uniform. I use it propped up against a small table and it is very comfortable to use. You can stretch a project that is larger than the frame. However, you must take care when removing your punched work that may be gripped by the frame, since Punch Needle loops are formed on the underside of your piece. I find that if you are using fine wool, try to keep at least one side of your stretched project only gripped by the Monk's cloth, not your punched work; that way you can loosen the Monk's cloth first before carefully loosening the punched part of your project.
